Dear friends and users, we are happy to announce the next release of SUMO which as always has a lot of updates and new features, e.g.: - Improved support for multi-modal simulation - Import of bus lanes and bike lanes from OSM - Extended TraCI API for pedestrians (check out the new tutorial TraCIPedCrossing) - Lots of NETCONVERT bug fixes related to multi-modality - New model for electric vehicles, battery state and charging infrastructure - Networks for left-hand traffic can now be built - Continuous lane-changing is now working - vehicle-class specific speed limits can now be defined - New network attributes to control whether vehicles may drive onto an intersection (and possibly jam it) - Initial version of VISSIM inpx import
