Hello: I am new to SUMO and as a warm-up exercise, I want to produce the Fundamental Traffic Diagram, flow vs density. However, I don't know where to begin.
I created a circular network, with rerouters at various points to keep the vehicles driving around the circle. However, it appears that once the network becomes full SUMO stops inserting additional vehicles. So at a certain point, I end up with a constant flow and density. I figured this is so common that I would be able to find examples for this, but I've been unsuccessful. Can someone please point me to an example or share their network and routes file with me so that I may produce the Fundamental Traffic Diagram?
