Although I feel it would be an interesting opportunity, I wonder what at time of day one would schedule this type of event? With our geographic distribution, it would be hard to avoid having it at 3am local time for _somebody_ :-) Not that I'm discouraging the idea! For me, the slight delay in receiving the messages, along with occasional mis-ordering, is quite a small price for having such informative and entertaining discourse at a civil time of day. It also give me a chance to translate before an entire conversation has gone by!
