Eclipses in 1582

Regarding Jim Morrisons request for lunar eclipses in 1582.  I ran an
astronomical simulation for 1581-1583.  There were no (umbral) lunar eclipses
that were visible in both Madrid and Mexico City.  During the actual year of
1582 there were no total lunar eclipses anywhere in the world.  
        I will test for a wider span of years of plus or minus 5 years, also 
I'll
test for solar eclipses.
