Just came across a book that I bought at a used book store, it's title is "PRACTICAL ASTRONOMY: A User-friendly Handbook for Skywatchers" the author is H. Robert Mills the company that publishes it is ALBION PUBS. in the UK
For those that need a little help in understanding the inter-workings of the komos, and how it applies to sun-dialing will find it help full. Alot of hands on experiments that help in understanding the movements of the Sun, Earth etc. It seems to be written as a text book, for use by the school system in the UK, does show how to make several sundails, and helps explain how an astrolabe works etc. Any questons just write Dave Carlson -- Redding, CA.
