Fellow Shadow Watchers,
BSS members who attended the Cirencester
Conference may recall seeing the 'wild boar' horizontal dial I made for
the small town of Ferryhill which is 6 miles SSE of Durham city.

The dial was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Tony Blair on 23rd of
June and is now fully recovered from the attack of 'instant verdigris'
recently described on The List. The patination was in fact quite
superficial and very easily removed.

Anyone wishing to see it in place will find Ferryhill by following signs
for Spennymoor from the A1. The dial is in the garden in front of the
Town Hall with full public access.

Best Wishes

Tony Moss.
