Sundial friends, I found in Oman a sundial which was used,up to today, for the distribution of irrigation water. The sundial indicates the water-rights of every irrigation participant and instruct the waterguard for opening and closing the gates. I'm interested to know if there are more examples of such dials and literature concerning this use of a sundial.
