Dear sundial, astronomy, etc., etc.,
experts:
In a publication of the U.S. Naval Observatory
I found the following data:
Vernal
Equinox: Mar 20 1994 3:28 PM EST Does this mean that at the Vernal Equinox the time in Greenwich is 3:28 PM true solar time (without the equatio temporis correction) or is it the mean local time (obtained with the equatio temporis)? What does EST and EDT mean? Thanks in advance for your help. Achim Loske. |
