LacusCurtius (and for those of you not irremediably mired in Roman Antiquity, the entire rest of my site), has moved.

The new address of my homepage is
   http://penelope.uchicago.edu/Thayer/E/home.html

The former site at Kansas will very likely be removed within a very few days. There may be a comprehensive redirect from the University of Kansas, but maybe not: I have no control over that.

The structure of my site is unchanged. Those of you with websites can make the change with a single global-replace, by changing
   http://www.ukans.edu/history/index/europe/ancient_rome
to
   http://penelope.uchicago.edu/Thayer

My new server is more stringent about banning certain ISP's (because of mass downloading, phishing, spam, denial-of-service attacks, etc.). If you get 403 errors, your ISP is on the banned list; contact me of course to see how we can remove your block of that ISP from that list.

Best,
