In a message to the SML last week when describing
my new sundial templets I wrote

I would have written more on this but I realised that my own concept was
at best shaky. Friends will have often heard me say "If I can't draw it
I don't really understand it". As a result I spent a few moments
producing a graphical memorandum for myself on dials displaced in
latitude which may be of interest to anyone else encountering this
problem. It is a 16k PDF available off list to anyone on request.
