I hope that my little article on the Francis Hall dial at Whitehall will
not stop you giving your talk. I am sure that you have much more to add
than I have said. Basically I have tried to imagine how each of the
spherical dials would have been constructed given the information and
illustrations that we have of the dial. I have hardly covered its history.

I've also just learned from John Davis that Mike Cowham will have an article
on the dial in the June issue of the BSS
Bulletin.
