Hi Guys:

I need a little help with something. I am designing a monumental sundial for
New Delhi India (a new building that will called the "Time Tower"). But
I've run into I problem I've never had to deal with before. The problem is
that India has a strange Time Zone. Its Time Zone is UT + 5 Hrs. 30 Min. I
am using ZW 2000 to design the dial. Here is my question: What number
should I enter into Zonwvlak for the Standard Meridian?

My thinking goes like this:

The sundial will be located at local meridian (longitude) -77.0769 degrees.
If it had a normal time zone, the Standard Meridian would be -75 degrees
(UT+ 5 hrs.). But since its Time Zone is UT +5:30, then wouldn't its
Standard Meridian be -(75 + 7.5) = -82.5 degrees? Is this correct?

Thanks

John
