Hello Sasch and all,

Perhaps you a right. These Armenian dials seem to be simple mass dials with a
horizontal gnomon and equal hour angles, easy to discount as trivial. One looks
like an attempt at polar dial. I am reluctant to ignore them without knowing
more about their provenance, Perhaps they are meaningless reproductions without
regard for orientation. I don't know enough about the specifics. Is there a
local expert to comment on their merit?

Regards, Roger Bailey

As nice as these dials are, they appear to be reproductions which are
installed without regard to directional orientation. Unfortunately this
is not unusual.
