Nice to hear from you.  See Mr. Frank's home page below. He seems to keep
very busy and I think the astronomical clock is more a labor of love - and
perhaps a shot at posterity.

Thanks so much for alerting us to this. The complexity and beauty of this
project are absolutely breath-taking!

 

Of course, the finished clock will be priceless, but do you have any idea
about the actual cost of building?

A gentleman named Mark Frank is in the process of building a magnificent
astronomical skeleton clock. Each month he sends out a link to a web page
giving details of the progress made that month. The November installment
includes the making of the equation work and the kidney cam.
