I've just been reading your posts about SunRay 2.0 on Solaris 10. Has anybody played with SunRay 3.0 on solaris 10?? I've just installed it, however the keyboard doesn't respond on the sunrays.
An earlier post from our hero at Sun (hello OttoM :) confirms that, yes, Solaris 10b58 breaks keyboard support. No word on whether or not that will stick for a while, or if there are any quick fixes. AFAIK You may as well go back to Solaris 9 or 10b55 if you still have it lying around.
In the meantime, this is my first post to the list, so.. hello all. :) I was thrilled when I discovered Sun had made the SRSS available for download;
I think you still need a license for each Ray, no?
I never thought I'd see the day where I could pick up a SunRay
for $50, plonk SRSS on my Ultra 2 and get rocking, but here I am. I'm thrilled to death with the Ray and look forward to adding more around the house. Is Sun aware how popular their products are at home with geeks? ;)
