Is it possible to configure a sunray server to provide a remote login window of an alternate dtlogin server? What I am trying to accomplish is having a low end sunray server that provides only authentication, dhcp, and firmware upgrades and have another server provide the xdm/gdm/kde login and applications.
We have a V40z that would serve our Debian KDE, and Crossover server while our E450 would serve our as the sunray authentication, dhcp, and firmware server. When the Sunray gets authenticated and comes up, I would like it to have the GDM login window of the Debian server instead of the Sunray server host. Network latency between the Debian and Sun servers would not be an issue. They are GigE connections.
Since Solaris10 is not supported for SRSS on x86(at this time), we would prefer using a solution such as this until such time a Solaris10 X86 solution became available if possible.
Also, on a sidebar, would/could LXRUN run the Linux SRSS3.0 software under Solaris10X86? Has anyone tried this?
I'm on a crunch for time so any quick informative replies are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
