Hi,

I have the same problem with SRSS3.1alpa on Debian:
>From /var/log/wdm.log:

  Memory fault
_XSERVTransSocketOpenCOTSServer: Unable to open socket for inet6
_XSERVTransOpen: transport open failed for inet6/srserv1:8
_XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: failed to open listener for inet6
sh: /opt/SUNWut/lib/xkb/xkbcomp: No such file or directory
sh: /opt/SUNWut/lib/xkb/xkbcomp: No such file or directory
(EE) Couldn't load XKB keymap, falling back to pre-XKB keymap
Could not init font path element /usr/lib/X11/fonts/CID, removing from list!
  Can't open /var/dt/bw.8
  Can't open /var/dt/st.8

Giuseppe, did you already find a workaround? I will try to dig into
it next week.

As an alternative solution, does anybody know how to get the gdm
delivered with SRSS to work on Debian with newer GNOME versions or
how to patch a recent gdm to work with SRSS?

Best wishes,
Meik
