If it's a P2 model then it's a Sun Ray 1, not a 1g. All 1g's
manufactured up till now identify themselves as P7. (But not all
P7's are 1g's. The SR 170 also uses the P7 electronics and
therefore also identifies itself as P7.)

Steve described the physical differences: the 1g has a DVI-I
monitor connector instead of the VGA connector on the 1, and
the 1g has no RCA video input connector.

It means that the firmware in the DTU has not provided enough
information for the AMGH (Advanced Multi-Group Hotdesking) PAM
module to try to make a decision about whether this DTU should
be redirected to a server in some other Sun Ray host group, so
the DTU will remain attached to the local host group. This
message should go away once you've upgraded the DTU firmware.

AMGH is a new feature in SRSS 3.1. I described it briefly in
<http://www.filibeto.org/pipermail/sunray-users/2005-June/000939.html>.
