Hi,
I did send a similar e-mail half a year ago (at that time referring to
SRSS 3.0).
We have X problems while using the following combination of software:
* SRSS 3.1 (Debian Sarge) + SAS (Solaris 7/8 or Debian Sarge)
When using the horizontal and vertical scrollbars of the SAS table
viewer (SAS versions 8.2 and 9.1) random black and/or white squares
appear both on background and application windows. The same artifacts
emerge in SAS while using AF (i.e. applications with imbedded tables).
We do not have this kind of problems for the following combinations:
* SRSS (Solaris 8) + SAS (Solaris 7/8 or Debian Sarge)
* Stand-alone PC (Debian Sarge) + SAS (Solaris 7/8 or Debian Sarge)
It seems that Xnewt, the X-server provided by Sun, does not work
properly in combination with Debian Sarge.
I would be interested if anybody using the officially supported Linux
versions (SLES8, RHEL3) has experienced similar problems or if SAS is
working without problems.
