Yeah, this one bit me (too) on an older version of Fedora Core some
time ago, but the symptoms were different. Once some of the /tmp files
got blown away, the log files went nuts and the CPU load skyrocketed.
Reboot was the only way to get things back under control until someone
asked me about tmpwatch. D'oh!
