I think I just figured it out. the installation of the SunRay software only seems to work if I comment out the 127.0.0.1 line in /etc/hosts. So I do this during the install, I simply forgot to uncomment the line back. Once I did this and rebooted everything seems to work. Now is there anyway to have the USB device mount up automatically without having to use utdiskadm -m... (or utmount -m)? Not a huge deal, it would just present itself a little cleaner for our users. Thanks for your help thus far!!

Are device nodes created in $UTDEVROOT/dev/dsk ? What does "/opt/SUNWut/bin/utdiskadm -l" show ? If you plug this device directly into the server, does it get mounted ? >Can anyone give me a quick walk through on getting USB >memory stick support on SRSS 3.1.1 on RHEL 3AS u3? USB storage services will not work on RHEL 3AS u3. They need the Linux 2.6 kernel. For RHEL 4AS, there's nothing special you need to do. When you plug the device into a Sun Ray it should get mounted automatically. -a- _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger!
