I have four identically configured SunFire 280-R servers running Solaris 10 (01/06) & SRSS 3.1. Server bobcat-2 is the primary Sun Ray server; servers bobcat-1, bobcat-3 and bobcat-4 are secondary Sun Ray servers. Servers bobcat-1 & 2 have been in service since April and bobcat-3 & 4 were recently installed. All but bobcat-3 seem to be running as they should.

The problem is with bobcat-3. When I run utreplica on the primary server (bobcat-2) I see the following:
-----------------------------------------------
(bobcat-2)# ./utreplica -p -a bobcat-3

Sun Ray server 3.1
Administration Failover Configuration

Adding new secondary servers to the current secondary list
utreplica: Warning, could not contact LDAP server on bobcat-3 on port 7012.

bobcat-3: Connection refused
utreplica: Warning, Incompatible secondary server bobcat-3:
Unable to determine the replication status of bobcat-3.

### updating the SRDS config file
-----------------------------------------------
Everything appears normal when running utreplica on the secondary server (bobcat-3). However, I see the following messages on the primary server:

Dec 10 15:54:42 bobcat-2 utpushd[15252]: Retrying operation for DN utid=default.xconfig,utname=rawTokens,utname=bobcat-2,o=v1,o=utdata on replica bobcat-3:7012 Dec 10 15:54:42 bobcat-2 utpushd[15252]: Error: ldap_cram_md5_bind_s for bobcat-3:7012 failed: Can't contact LDAP server

Dec 10 16:47:46 bobcat-2 utpushd[587]: [ID 263316 daemon.error] Retrying operation for DN utid=default.xconfig,utname=rawTokens,utname=bobcat-2,o=v1,o=utdata on replica bobcat-3:7012 Dec 10 16:47:48 bobcat-2 utpushd[10495]: [ID 310294 daemon.error] Warning: saved state for bobcat-3:7012, not a known replica
-----------------------------------------------

All four servers were installed from the same set of Solaris and SRSS installation disks. It seems that there is some problem with bobcat-2 and 3 communicating with each other. I have tried re-running utconfig -u and then utconfig on all four servers, but no luck. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Mike
