Guys,

Thanks, it makes perfect sense that you must initiate the restart services from the primary server. Thus it also makes sense that this option doesn't appear on a secondary server. This is trivial, but I am curious why it does show up as an option on two recent additional secondary servers that were installed. Otherwise, all 3 secondary servers seem to be running as they should.

Thanks, Mike

That's expected behavior.

See the admin guide and the "note" about utrestart via the admin tool.

When accessing Admin. / Restart Services from the Sun Ray Administration Screen I see: "Error -- Warm/Cold Restart failed. Check messages file for additional information."

In the messages file, I see: "Dec 12 17:59:42 bobcat-1 admincgi[4569]: [ID 702911 user.info] Error opening status file"

This occurs on a secondary SR server. Everything is normal on the Primary SR server and two other secondary SR servers.

Any idea how I can correct this?

Thanks, Mike
