Hi all,
I have learned how to use a german Apple Keyboard on a Sun Ray by
modifying
cd /usr/openwin/share/etc/keytables
pico keytable.map
6 0 Germany6.kt
However, some very handy keystrokes do not work, neither with the Apple
nor with the Sun keyboard. I would like an '[' to appear when I press
Alt_L 5 and ']' when pressing Alt_L 6 and so on. These are standard Mac
mappings and very convenient IMHO. The AltGr stuff is not efficient
enough for programming. How would I go to modify the mapping
accordingly? I read the xmodmap manual and also played with xev , but I
don't get it. :-)
Some help would be greatly appreciated!
