I just checked with our networking folks and I'm told that there are two DHCP servers that answer for our entire network, so it seems that the two campus servers are answering the requests. ! The other one that got offered will expire when the lease is done. ! Unless of course the Sun Ray cycles before the lease expired and sends ! out the DHCPReq again. If the DTU just stays up, it will renew it's ! lease w/ the DHCP Server it got the address from. This does seem to jive with what we are seeing. The second address does seem to expire, leaving only one address pingable. ! ! If you already have a DHCP server on the network, why are you having the ! Sun Ray Server give out IP's?
