I do this commonly with my Olympus "C-5500 Sport Zoom". It's a bit
old now, however.

It's recognized as mass storage, as was my old Kodak model.

I have a Sun Ray Server running Solaris 10u3 with SRSS 3.1 and gphoto2
2.1.4. I have tried several different digital cameras and it seems like
"hit or miss"; one camera worked (recognized as a USB mass storage
device) and the rest didn't (neither as a mass storage device nor by
gphoto2).
Has anyone had any success in attaching a digital camera to a Sun Ray
DTU's
USB port and downloading the photos? If so, what is/was the make &
model of
the digital camera? This a requirement of my users who are salespeople
who
wish to download digital photos of their products and email them to their
customers.
Thank you for any guidance,
bjp
