Hello, We are planning on moving to Sun Rayand SGD. The one problem that we face is when streaming video the screen is choppy and I am not talking about full screen. For e.g. Youtube.
What can be done to improve that if anyone can help. When I added sun.lst there the behavior changed - I got some output from 'setxkbcomp -print'. I copied files from /opt/SUNWut/lib/xkbfiles which differed from the files under /usr/share or which were missing there. Now, the situation is like follows: The keyboard is somehow corrupted (Enter, Ctrl, BkSpc and other keys don't work). ~> setxkbmap -print xkb_keymap { xkb_keycodes { include "sun(type6_usb)" }; xkb_types { include "complete" }; xkb_compat { include "complete" }; xkb_symbols { include "sun/us(type6)" }; xkb_geometry { include "sun(type6)" }; }; 'setxkbmap -symbols sun/cz' loads the Czech keyboard layout, the "control" keys don't work and 'setxkbmap -print' shows sun/us(type6) keyboard. After switching the keyboard to US layout (by 'setxkbmap -symbols sun/us') cursor arrows stop working. It looks as if the keyboard description was not correct. BTW, my keyboard is a type7 keyboard, but there are no files describing it. Is the description the same as for the type6 keyboard? I really would rather not rollback to edgy, but keep on tinkering away trying to find out the problem and how to fix. Like you I have the new Type7 keyboards. -- Regards Sean Clarke --------------------------------------------- SEC Consulting Limited Phone: +44 (0)23 8040 5599 Website: http://www.sec-consulting.co.uk Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] SEC Consulting is a Sun Partner Advantage Member: Sun, keeping 10 moves ahead. http://www.sec-consulting.co.uk/Sun/index.html ------------------------------ _______________________________________________ SunRay-Users mailing list [email protected] http://node1.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sunray-users End of SunRay-Users Digest, Vol 40, Issue 11 ******************************************** _______________________________________________ SunRay-Users mailing list [email protected] http://node1.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sunray-users
