When you see it mounted under /tmp/SUNWut/mnt/ is it under that $USER's ID?

Try just mapping $HOME to see if that works. i.e. -r disk:u=$HOME

Can you run your script from a terminal and see if there are any error messages from uttsc? Create a CAM application for dtterm, set that to launch and run your CAM script from the terminal as that kiosk user.

If I'm not mistaken, Windows 2000 RDP does not do drive mapping.

O.K.
So I now have this pointing @ a Windows XP (SP2) VM on a VMWare Server
(just for testing) and I still do not see a U: Drive, but again I can see
the volume mounted on the SunRay Server in the correct place /tmp/SUNut/mnt/

Does it matter that I am running the VDA script via a CDE Kiosk session ?

Is there anything else I can look @ ?

Best Regards
