Just upgraded a sunray server to 3.1 ( patch 120879-06 ).
"State" field (last) on utsession -p shows IEA with active sessions, or just
EA for inactive.

What do you mean by "active" and "inactive"?

I have other sunray servers which I upgraded and do not
see EA on any of theses systems.
Does not appear to have any impact on operations.
Manpage does not address these codes.

This is CR 4983287, "utsession man page should describe
E and A flag letters".

'E' means that the session is encrypting traffic in at least
one direction, 'A' means that the connection has been
authenticated in at least one direction. 'utsession -l' gives
the details.

Should I be concerned?

Only if you didn't intend to have different encryption and
authentication settings on the different servers. In that
case you can use 'utcrypto' or the web GUI to bring the
servers into the state you want.
