Where are you seeing the "no more IP's" message? Run dhcpmgr on each
server to see what is going on. I have had times when IP's were not
getting released and marked unusable. Also if you do a cold utrestart
does that fix the IP issue.

Just curious, what servers are you using 88 seems overkill for 5
servers.

Thanks
DaveP

Subject: [SunRay-Users] HELP - "no more Ips..." with failover group

I upgraded 5 servers to 3.1 rev 06 this weekend.
I have approx. 88 sunrays shared by all 5 in failover group. Each
server has unique range of 34 IP Addr. (according to documentation. I
have been running this failover group for years.

All servers in group "utgstatus" report normal - trusted and excepting
connections Out of the 88 sunrays, about 25 will not connect and all 5
servers are echoing same message about being out of IP addresses but
echo the MAC addresses for these thin-clients. Checked DHCP tables and
only 1 server was saturated ( which I manully freed a couple )

We have removed the power from these sunrays for 5 min. and still no
luck. The server which was saturated had no active users, so I removed
replication, rebooted, and readded... didn't seem to make a difference.
