Jim,
3-4 years ago I did such work i.e. modified pcfs kernel module to
support non-english filenames ( Cyrillic in particular).
Didn't test it with SR WC yet but it works with Citrix perfectly
(required to hack Citrix client for solaris also though - this client
doesn't assume that solaris is capable of dealing with cyrillic too:))
