Hi all,

I would like to offer to people an access to the Internet via SunRay DTUs.

For that, i have :

- SunRay Software 4, running on a solaris box
- Windows 2003 Terminal Server (this box has a Internet access)
- A SunRay DTU

Constraints :

- Avoid the fact to log-in (if possible)
- Avoid the Gnome interface

I would like to give a Web Browser for non-card users, and a Windows Sessions for card' users.

My first idea was to use the Windows Connector for SunRay to allow card's users to have a Windows Session. But I had a limitation with non-cards users, I can't set another kiosk application for the Web Browser...

Second idea : install Sun Secure Global desktop (SGD), and create a script who will be set up as a kiosk application. I explain :

The script will detect if a card is plumbed, then launch a mozilla web browser who point to the SGD login page, then the user log-in and select the application wished. If no card is plumbed, then launch a mozilla web browser who point to a internet web site (google or something like that).

Did someone has already performed things like that ? Any recommendations are welcome ! :-)

Thanks,
Ben
