PCSC-Lite 1.0 and the SRS 09/07 (SRSS 4 U2, SRWC 2.0). Smart card is a Schlumberger Cryptoflex for Windows, using builtin CSP included MS Win2003 AD, MS Cert Server.

Hi Craig,

I have to confirm, are you using the following?

1. PC/SC SRCOM Bypass 2.0 Revenue Release <http://filibeto.org/sun/sunray-users/add-ons/SUNWsrcbp_2.0_x86.zip> 2. PC/SC-lite 1.0 for Solaris 10 11/06 <http://filibeto.org/sun/sunray-users/add-ons/pcsclite/1.0/pcsclite_sparc.zip>

I have some 'special' builds (e.g. told to uninstall all instances of pcsc in pkginfo) so can't comment much. Would like to know what you are using that resulted in the fast speed and thus want to test on my side.

thanks,
James

    What type of Sun Ray and what type of smart card? What rev of SRSS and
    are you using srcom or PCSC-lite.

    If you are using the latest Sun Ray Software 09/07 and PCSC-lite you
    will get much faster speeds if your card can handle it (which is sounds
    like it can). If not using this combo (or have a card that won't use
    higher speeds) it will default to 9600 baud.

    I tested a Schlumberger Cryptoflex for Windows. Under SRSS 3.1 and
    SRCOM it took about 40-60 seconds. With SRSS 4 and PCSC-lite it took
    under 15 (as fast if not faster than XP with a connected card reader
    using the MS RDP client).
