We have quite a few client sites running SRSS 3.1 (on Solaris 10 x86) and I was looking for some recommendations on the best method to upgrade them to 4.0u2. These are not fail-over groups, just small installations of a handful of Sun Rays at each site. Would it be best to uninstall 3.1 first and then do a fresh install of 4.0u2 -or- simply run the install script to "upgrade" SRSS?
Thanks in advance for any input and advice. Just as an FYI: the reason for the upgrade is that we have occasional USB printing issues and are hoping this will help.
