Hello,

I have installed a SRSS 4.0 9/07 on a Fedora8 server (a SUN X4100 with a ATI graphic card). I had to modify the original configuration with the help of the wiki page http://wiki.sun-rays.org/index.php/SRSS-4.0-48_F7_linux-2.6.23 and some others ... It seems to work fine : I can connect from a sunray2 to the server through the gdm interface.

The problem is with OpenGL applications.

When I log in directly on the server (display :0) , I can launch glxgears and everything is OK.
When I log in on the sunray to the server, the following error occurs :
glxgears: xcb_io.c:452: _XRead: Assertion `dpy->xcb->reply_data != 0' failed.
"xdpyinfo" says that normally, I have the GLX support.

I saw there were a workaround for openoffice (http://www.opensubscriber.com/message/[email protected]/8409739.html) but it was for SSRS 3.1.1 (I tried "env SAL_NOOPENGL=true ooffice" : it works fine for openoffice , I didn't try to replace libX11.so.6 because it could cause other problems ...)

Does anyone have to solve this problem ?
The problem seems to come from the SRSS software (but I can make a mistake) : is there any patch I could apply ?
or anything else I could do ?
(NB : I had no problem with a X4100 solaris server with SRSS 3.1, but we 'd like to try a linux distribution)

Thank you for your help,
