Hello SunRay-Users, I have recently found it annoying that my Sun Ray 1 at home (NATed as DMZ host with D-Link DI-624 AP/Firewall) sometimes lags when largely updating a Windows screen via uttsc (i.e. when I drag around a Google Map image).
These lags are quite long, tens of seconds, up to a minute. During this time either the session freezes up altogether, or I am able to move the mouse pointer. This pointer does not work however (image doesn't change over text/other areas, clicks don't react, etc). The server is still SRSS 3.1, and I haven't seen such lags with identical DTUs at work. There are some minor lags within 1-3 seconds though. Maybe the connection to the same WinTS server is not ideal (it is remote from the FOG of SRSS servers). If this is a known problem, does anybody know whether it should go away after some sort of tuning and/or upgrading to SRSS4/SRWC2 with most recent patches? Or is it some performance problem between SunRay 1 DTUs and modern graphical demands? -- Best regards, Jim Klimov mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ SunRay-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sunray-users
