Adding to the below

I found out that authd is not running I am getting

cannot find /etc/opt/SUNWut/jre/bin/java

I check the symlink and it is correctly pointing to

/java

And excecuting /etc/opt/SUNWut/jre/bin/java displays the options for the java binary.

Hey All

I followed the book to setup a SUNRAY server on RHEL 4, all went fine and the SUNRAY client is seeing the broadcasts from the server however there is no logon screen appearing.

One step that did not work was

./utfwsync

Error: Could not get gstatus information from server localhost-eth1

utfwsync: fatal, unable to determine the trusted host group

That's expected when authd is not running. First, make sure authd is up.
If the jre link is correct, then try utrestart and see this time authd come up.

Thanks

Note:These are my personal opinions, nothing to do with my employer

Any suggestions please ?

Thx
