What version of patch 120880 do these machines have? The fix for bug 6480801, which as Swamiji said is the most likely cause of this problem, was first delivered in 120880-06. Version -07 is current.
Currently there is no version of patch 120880 at all installed on these systems, somehow SRSS patches are not automatically applied to my system... hmmm... I'll just do it now :)
