Hi Aaron,

I am not really good in Samba as i tried it few years back. If i am not mistaken, by default Samba is enable in Solaris 10.

Can you show me, how can i configure Samba to suit my requirement?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You could run Samba on the SunRay server. During your Windows login process you can map a share to that SunRay server which will spawn a Samba pre/post exec.

Cheers,
Aaron

Dear forum users,

I had configured card users to have a Kiosk session using SunRay Windows connector. Once inserted card, users will be connected to W2003's
terminal server and the users have to enter username and password.

Question: Is there any way/solution, whereby, as soon as the users successfully entered username and password and get their own TS desktop, an instruction sent from W2003 server to my SunRay (SPARC) server to execute some solaris script(s) or command?

Please give me comment if any of you had done such testing or implement it.
Thanks.
