Now it works!! :) You were right Elliott, it was problems with port 38900. In our case, one users /usr/lib/gnome-vfs-daemon process was hanging to port 38900. It seems that this process should exist for all logged in users. It should probably connect to port 38900, but only in an instant moment I guess.
(To find out which process it was I used /usr/bin/pfiles) We killed that user process - voila!
