It's time for me to move on from vnc and rdesktop and use uttsc. I've made a few quick launchers and am facing two problems. SRSS4.0, Solaris 10 U5 sparc and Windows XP.
The first is that once I boot my windows instance and I start an application, I get that same exact application again and again on subsequent launch of _other_ applications. The other problem is that once I x out (close) the windows app, I stay with an empty window. If I close that it doesn't make any difference. That windows session has to be killed. Of course, as long as I remember to always click the x of the x window window and not the windows window I'm ok, but it'll happen sooner than later. Is there a tool for windows to automatically reset that session once the app has been closed? Once I figure that out, I was thinking of using seamlessrdpshell.exe on the windows side.
