Hi all,
we are now using several SunRay 2FS here.
But we are not really happy with the graphic performance.
We have SunRays with 2 heads and with 1 head.
And always with maximum resolution.
The image build-up is to slow. You see effects like stripes.
All the SunRays with 1280x1024 pixel are okay.
We are using server version 4.0 on Solaris/SPARC and i just installed
the
new patches.
So i also have tested setting "set hires_tick = 1"
in /etc/system. We are using Ciscos Catalyst 6500
and i don't know if the performance problems
described in the README are also helpful for Cisco.
Are there any more hints for increasing
the graphic performance for SunRay 2FS???
Is there a FAQ about performance for SunRays?
(Maybe it is a good idea to create something like this ...)
