Hi Mike, Well I don´t think that it would be the best solution, but yes it could be useful and if we could say that the reader will be integrated into DTU in the future. That would be nice!
This type of card is used in 20 to 30 universities / universities of applied sciences in Finland 2-4 of them all ready uses Sun Ray´s. The total amount of card holders is 100 000 users. Card is used as a student card. They can use it for printing / lunch / library / etc. So it would be nice to say that you can use it for accessing your desktop too. And it would be very nice sales argument too. No, you can't use an external USB CCID reader for smartcard-based hotdesking. Yet. We only support using the internal reader for hotdesking. Would you find it useful to be able to use an external USB CCID reader for smartcard-based hotdesking? mike _______________________________________________ SunRay-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sunray-users _______________________________________________ SunRay-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sunray-users
