is there any experience for a smartcard (PayFlex) to be personalized
the
Sun Ray built-in card reader ?
If you are referring to the Sun-branded Payflex card, then no, you can
not personalize that card. We don't distribute the keys that would allow
you to create or modify data on the card, we use it strictly as a token
card (i.e. reading a unique serial number from the card for Sun Ray
session
mobility).
You can buy your own Payflex cards, which would come with keys that you
know, and modify the content of those cards.
We're using Solaris 10, not OpenSolaris.
I found hints, that SunRays do not support OCF, it only works
using a "PC/SC-bypass (SUNWsrcbp)", not via the "sdtsmartcardadmin"
tool nor with the OCF that is bundled with Solaris.
Are the any manuals availible? Where can I get the Package SUNWsrcbp ?
That is old information that unfortunately is still out there. Maybe we
need a better database manager to keep track of all of this type of
information ;-)
Sun Ray supports PC/SC-lite, using the same API that the Open Source
MUSCLE project uses (and which is a subset of the Windows PC/SC API).
You can get the PC/SC-lite packages from Sun's website. You'll also
want to be running at least SRS 4.
