Hi list. Brief version first: is there a way to customize settings for each member of a FOG? In particular, could I write an individualized command line in the kiosk mode settings for each member of the FOG?
Now the longer version for context: We have a FOG of two Sun Ray servers (more on the way), using Windows Connector to attach to a load-balanced cluster of Windows Terminal Servers. Currently, all the Sun Rays get routed through one load balancer for all the Windows servers. We'd like to adjust our setup so that we have multiple equivalent Windows clusters, each backing one member of the Sun Ray FOG. One way to do this would be to provide a dedicated LAN for each Sun Ray server, with each LAN riding on its own instance of the same RFC1918 IP space, and each Windows load balancer listening on the same IP address. That may be the way we end up going. But if we wanted to leave our Windows load balancers listening in a common IP space (public or otherwise), then we'd need a way to tell each member of the FOG which Windows terminal server it should use. I guess we could do something with /etc/hosts but that feels hackish and prone to failure. We're using SRSS 4.1, x86, in case that matters.
