To add another example, when I Select notepad from my published applications, the browser tries to use javaclient for Citrix and
not ICA client. ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Talley, Paul Sent: Wednesday, July 08, 2009 5:33 PM To: SunRay-Users mailing list Subject: [SunRay-Users] Using Citrix ICA Client Web Interface with Mozilla I am connecting to a Citrix Access Web interface from my Sun Ray Server running Solaris 10x86. I have kiosk mode configured to auto-start a browser only so my users can only use the browser from my Sun Ray devices, similar to controlled browser in CAM. The browsers are Mozilla 1.7 and Firefox 2.0.0.19 I installed ICA client for Solaris 8.5 When I get to the Web Interface and log in I get a message that says "we are unable to detect the appropriate client software on your computer to allow you to launch your applications. If you wish to download and deploy the client software to allow you to launch your applicaitions click download" It gives me the choice of download or already installed. When I click on the "already installed" button the ICA client runs and works great and gives me access to my published applications. If I do not click anything and continue to login in it attempts to run javaclient. Is there any way to tell the Web Interface that the ICA client is already installed? This way my users don't get confused. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
