I copied .mozilla into /etc/opt/SUNWkio/prototypes/Firefox
When I select "Firefox Kiosk" as my application in JDS kiosk
session it does not execute, just resets. This is what I have for
/etc/opt/SUNWkio/applications/firefox.conf
bash-3.00# more firefox.conf
KIOSK_APP_EXEC=/opt/firefox/firefox
KIOSK_APP_ARGS="-kiosk"
KIOSK_APP_LABEL="Firefox Kiosk"
KIOSK_APP_ICON=/opt/firefox/icons/mozicon50.xpm
KIOSK_APP_DESCRIPTION="Launch Firefox"
KIOSK_APP_PROTOTYPE=Firefox
bash-3.00# pwd
/etc/opt/SUNWkio/applications
In /etc/opt/SUNWkio/prototypes/Firefox .mozilla is the only thing
there.
Is this set up correct, or what am I missing?
If I select a custom path to application it runs firefox fine but of
course doens't have the settings in the browser that I want.
Thanks!
paul

You have these applications set as type "Application Descriptor", but
they need to be of type "Executable".
The web admin GUI really should try to figure out the setting to use
using some heuristics (.conf extension and/or execute permission), but
for now you have to make sure the right setting is used.
