There are existing files on this USB thumb drive and can be access
just fine from Linux, Windows and Mac. Formated with FAT16. But
when I put the USB in a Sunray, it mounts fine but show no files? I
can copy files to the USB and they will show up. But none of the
existing files show up. I can then take the USB thumb drive and
mount on Windows or Mac and see all the files plus the files I
copied over when it was mounted on the sunray. Take the USB back to
the sunray and it mounts but again only shows the files I copied
over from the first time.
Any ideas here??
Try plugging this into a USB port on the server (Solaris box) and see
if you see the same behavior. If you do, the problem is most likely
in the pcfs kernel filesystem layer, since Sun Ray uses the Solaris
pcfs module to do the actual heavy-lifting in the kernel.
