Hi all,

we have a failover cluster with SRSS 4.2 and RHEL 5.4 installed some weeks ago
and it was running fine
up to now.

User access is only allowed via smartcard.

Today a strange problem has started:

Login with smartcards worked fine. But when a user pull out the card and put it
again
in the reader, he saw only a black screen and in the left upper corner a small
gray square
with the ASCII letters "logo" on it. And nothing worked. He can't login again
(via hotdesking).

This happened for all users.

I have done a cold restart, this doesn't help really and then i have booted
all servers. Most people can use hotdesking now, but not all.

Any idea what happened?

In the moment i found only this error message (the last line):

Jan 13 11:17:18 xenix utauthd: Worker5 NOTICE: CONNECT IEEE802.0003babba5c3,
hotdesk.IEEE802-0003babba5c3, all connections allowed
Jan 13 11:17:18 xenix utauthd: Worker5 NOTICE: MTU = 1366
Jan 13 11:17:18 xenix utdtsession: Add (17,hotdesk.IEEE802-0003babba5c3,special)
Jan 13 11:17:19 xenix utauthd: Worker5 NOTICE: SESSION_OK
hotdesk.IEEE802-0003babba5c3
Jan 13 11:17:19 xenix hdloginGUI: Error opening catalog hdloginGUI

Well, i looked deeper in the logs and found this error message also some days
ago, but noone mentioned a problem - so i don't know, when it really started
(when i assume, this error message has something to do with the problem).

Thank you for any help.
