Not sure if it's the same issue, but some of our broadband remote users (SRSS 4.2, Solaris 10 10/09 SPARC) are also experiencing occasional keyboard and mouse lockups. During the lockup, the VPN box we're using shows a flurry of activity on the Sunray network port.
We've found that the lock can be resolved simply by lifting the optical mouse (Sun Type 7 keyboard) off the desk and putting it back down again. I've no idea why this solves the problem, and also no idea what causes it in the first place. >Date: Thu, 25 Mar 2010 12:56:44 +0000 >From: DJG <[email protected]> >To: <[email protected]> >Subject: [SunRay-Users] Keyboard issue > >Hello, >I've got a few servers with SR4.2 on Solaris 10/09 x86 with kiosk as well as JDS users connected from different locations, mostly on broadband. Every so often keyboard of different users would stop working and usually the best way to get back is to remove smart card and then put it back and log in. Also I've noticed that when users log out of JDS session, the keyboard is also not working and they have to remove the smart card. >I've been trying to find out if that could be down to network latency on broadband or some issue on server, but can't really say. >Any idea? >Thanks, >Dan > _______________________________________________ SunRay-Users mailing list [email protected] http://www.filibeto.org/mailman/listinfo/sunray-users
